why is there (low level) static when I record sound?
When I record my self (no matter which program I use, no matter what recording device I use) I can hear a low level static. and this static is not my "OCD", and I'm quite sure it wasn't there before.
This also happens when I have no mic connected to the input; and it's not a speaker problem (I can hear older recordings I made, just fine).
the static sound is about the same as a large bee, or wasp, sitting next to the mic.
